COME & GET IT!  THE WAY WE ATE 1830 - 2008
McLean County Museum of History
The museum opens at 8:30 a.m. with free admission through noon until September 5.

This is a great opportunity to check out the museum's exhibit on the history of food in McLean County. Explore the eating habits, cooking equipment, methods and diverse food traditions of county residents since the early 1800s.  Investigate four kitchens, each representing a different era and illuminating how the kitchen has changed in the last 180 years.  Hands-on activities and interpretive panels help explain social and economic changes that shaped the way we ate from 1830 to 2008.
